Why do tubeworms and hundreds of other species thrive near hydrothermal vents?

    Cause the bottom of the ocean is very cold but these creatures need warmth so they live near the hydro thermal vents. you probably wondering why cant they just go up to the surface of the ocean well they actually need the pressure.
