A student is performing gel electrophoresis with various dna fragments. fragment a is 100 base pairs long, fragment b is 320 base pairs long, and fragment c is 175 base pairs long. from shortest to longest distance traveled, in what order will the fragments appear on the gel?

    The smaller/shorter fragments travel faster.

    So "c" will travel the farthest, then "b" and "a" the shortest distance.
