Explanation:

Carrying capacity can be described as the number of species of a population that a particular habitat can hold. A certain habitat will have resources like food, water, space etc to accommodate a certain number of organisms. If the population size increases than the carrying capacity, then the individuals of a population will have to fight for the resources. The resources will become depleted over time and the ecosystem will no longer be stable.
