Answer: Type O blood receives and accepts only type O blood. This is because type O does not have any antigens compared to other blood types such A, B and AB.

Explanation: Type AB is the universal recipient since it has an antigen of A, antigen of B since it can recognize blood type with either of the both antigens. Type O is also accepted since it does not have any antigens.
