    Tertiary structure of protein:

The tertiary structure of protein may be defined as the over all and full folding of the entire polypeptide chain. The interaction of the side chains of different amino acids occur in the tertiary structure. The tertiary structure is followed after the secondary structure.

    Quaternary structures of a protein:

The quaternary structures of a protein may be defined as the structure that concerned with the spatial arrangement and topology of two or more polypeptide chain together. The non covalent interaction and disulfide bridge formation occurs in the quaternary structure. The quaternary structure is followed after the tertiary structure.
