Squids communicate about the danger by changing the colors of their skin. The cells responsible for releasing squid pigments are surrounded by muscles that squeeze them for coloring. They can show bands, or stripes, or become completely dark or light, that is, they have different patterns that indicate certain signals. In addition, a squid can make different coloring patterns in different areas of its body
