Feedback Mechanism: "The process in which a certain process rate is enhanced or lowered by relating it to another factor."

    Explanation:

Stomatal rhythms in plants body: The stomatas are small pore like structures present mainly on the leaves of the plant. As they are mainly responsible for the process of gaseous exchange in the plant body. As they stomata is surrounded or covered by the guard cells which can retain or excrete the amount of materials and water by the process of osmosis. When there is light, then the guard cells are swelled by retaining water and other elements into its body, which results in the opening of the pores and transpiration takes place. While in the night time the guard cells becomes flaccid resulting in losing of turgidity. Which then closes the pores and it puts an end to transpiration process. As the feedback mechanism works in the plants in such a way, by relating the osmosis process inside the guard cells and the sunlight presence.
