The correct answer is - DNA nucleotides contain a different sugar than RNA nucleotides.

    Explanation:

DNA and RNA are both nucleic acid structures and every organism contains one of them as the genetic material. There is a difference between DNA and RNA. The sugar that is used to make DNA is deoxyribose sugar which lacks the hydroxyl group at 2nd carbon position so only H atom is present there.

While in the formation of RNA ribose sugar is added which has a hydroxyl group at both the 2nd and 3rd carbon position of the sugar. There is one more difference in DNA and RNA uracil is present in RNA rather than thymine.

So the right answer is - DNA nucleotides contain a different sugar than RNA nucleotides.
