In watermelons, green color (G) is dominant over the gene for striped color (g). the gene for short shape (S) is dominant over the gene for long shapes (s). What is the probability that a long, striped fruit and a plant heterozygous for both traits will produce a melon that is long and green?

    Explanation:

    Any of the plant that is long is homozygous for long (ll) and any that is striped is homozygous for strip.

    The result of the cross would be 1 green short, 1 green long, 1 striped short, 1 striped long. Thus the probability will be 1/4
