2. These features differ from those found in Bacteria and Archaea in that: Bacteria and Archaea do not have a membrane bound nucleus, they don't have a membrane bound organelles and they do not have a rod shaped chromosomes.

They are monophyletic because they evolved only once and they are from a single common anscetor.
