What happens to the mRNA before it comes to the ribosome?

    Explanation: RNA is made in the nucleus. It is a single stranded copy of DNA. It gets edited by removing the introns (non coding region) and keeping the exons (coding region). The mRNA now leaves the nucleus to be read by the ribosomes.
