    Mercury has been identified to be the greatest pollutant in the Great Salt Lake. It is concluded that it came from worldwide industry. Mercury has been accumulated and affects the water which is now one with the highest levels at 25 nanograms per liter. It has also affected fish and ducks in the lake.
