Finches on different islands had different types of beaks.

    Explanation:

Charles Darwin, on his voyage, visited the Galápagos islands, and observed the finches (among other species, of course). He saw that in every island, the birds were adapted to the particular environment. For example, finches that eats small insects has sharp and thin beaks, differently from finch species that usually feed from large seeds, which posseses large and tough beaks. Also some of them had different beaks to feed from cactus fruit or pulp.
