What provides atp for the first 15 seconds of a muscle contraction?

    If there is no cellular respiration/aerobic respiration, not a lot of ATP is made. So, the body would rely on anaerobic respiration for a little bit of ATP to contract and relax--but this is harmful and shouldn't be used by the body often.
