    Oxygen and Glucose

    Explanation:

The process by which the organisms combine oxygen with glucose (food molecules) is known as the cellular respiration.

Oxygen and glucose collectively release energy by breaking their chemical bonds in these substances, providing energy for some essential processes of life and discard the waste products i. e. carbon dioxide and water.

All living cells must carry out cellular respiration, whether it be aerobic respiration (in the presence of oxygen) or anaerobic respiration (in the absence of oxygen).
