Scientists such as Carl Sagan believed nuclear weapons posed a threat to the survival of humankind not only in terms of a nuclear war but the threat of the nuclear winter which would follow. They proposed nuclear weapons should be reduced or eliminated completely. Other scientists such as Edwin Teller believed nuclear weapons keep humankind safer because it deters (prevents) world wars since aggressor nations know nuclear weapons could be used on them. What is your opinion? Explain your reasoning.

    i dont think their safe because in the wrong hands it could lead to chaos. nuclear weapons causes war and doesnt keep mankind safe.
