How does natural selection support the evidence of the evolution theory

    Natural selection is, in short, the fact that not everything survives to reproduce, and organisms that are best suited to their environment are more likely to survive than those that are less suited, and thus more likely to pass on the genes to make more best-suited individuals. so, it provides a short-term mechanism to explain how changes in a species can occur longer periods of time.
