It is a water treatment or water purification with the use of gravity in order to remove suspended solid from water. Sedimentation is somewhat like filtering. It filters the solid mass that is in the water to produce purified water. Sedimentation is usually present in tanks, because a tank may rust through time, it is the sedimentation process that will filter those rust to get rid of solid particles in the water. It occurs in different shapes, there’s the rectangular, circular and triangular shape.
