Different organizations use information technology in different ways which is purely based on their structure, political and cultural factors and outside environment. Structure of any organization decides how they want to use IT to accomplish different task. When organizations use decentralization then everyone will be involved and using the technology freely but when organization are centralized then only managers having authority will be involved in using it on the organisation's behalf. Likewise, political factors, cultural factors and environmental factors also plays role in shaping the use of technology within an organization.
