    Positive incentives refers to the incentive that created from making people pursue a certain pleasure or reward. (such as providing discount at the store on a certain date)

    Negative incentives on the other hand, is created from making people avoid a certain punishment/negative circumstances. (such as offering no insurance if consumers are late in making credit payment)
