    Phosphorus is in atomic number 15. Its electronic configuration of its anion with a charge of 3 - is as follows

    1s^2 2S^2 2P^6 3 s^2 3P^6

    This is because phosphorus become stable or obtain octet electron configuration by gaining 3 electrons
