Methane reacts with oxygen in a combustion reaction to produce carbon dioxide and water. how many moles of water are produced by the complete combustion of one mole of methane? 3

    Equation of combustion

    2ch3 + 3.5o2=2co2 + 3h2o

    For 2 moles of methane 3 moles of water are produced

    so for 1 moles of methane 3/2 or 1.5 moles of water is produced
