    Heterogeneous - hetero means the same. Therefore the answer is something of the same area.

    While the water, the vinegar and the dye - are made of the same things (water) they are not the same.

    So, I would infer the answer to be the mixture of gases in the air used to inflate a flattened bicycle tire because they are the same thing through and through but, with different molecule structures.
