    In electrolytic cell, the anode is assigned to the positive electrode while in voltaic cell, cathode is assigned to the positive electrode.

    In electrolytic cell, electron flow from cathode to anode while in voltaic cell, electrons flow from anode to cathode.

    So your answer would be D
