A mutually beneficial relationship is when two organisms benefit from each others' presence (a clown fish and a sea anemone), a predatory relationship is when one organism hunts the other for food (a polar bear and a seal), and a competitive relationship is when two species compete for resources such as food, habitat, etc. (woodpeckers and squirrels fighting for nesting rights)
