    Acids are those substances that produce H + ion when dissolve in solution.

    Explanation:

    Ions in acids depend on the compound which is being dissolved in solution.

    For e. g. When NaCl is dissolved in water, it produce Two Ions;

    Na + and Cl-

    If there are more H + ions in Solution then it will be acidic.

    If there are more OH - ions in solution then it will be basic.
