    = 59.5%

    Explanation:

    The equation for the reaction is;

    Fe2O3 (s) + 3CO (g) = > 2Fe (s) + 3CO2 (g)

    From the equation coefficients one mole of iron oxide react to form three moles of carbon dioxide gas.

    Therefore, the expected yield of carbon dioxide is;

    = (37.4 moles Fe2O3) * (3 moles CO2/1 mole Fe2O3)

    = 112.2 Moles of CO2

    To calculate the percentage yield we use the formula;

    Percentage yield = (Actual yield/Expected yield) * 100%

    = (66.8 moles CO2/112.2 moles CO2) * 100%

    = 59.5%
