Scientists carried out an experiment with flowers from plant X and found out that within three minutes of exposure to the sound of bees, the flowers increased the amount of sugar in their nectar by twenty times.

Explain how the above behaviour of the flowers can benefit plant X

    Bees want the nectar from the flowers mostly for the sugar content. Also, the plant needs the bees in order to reproduce. Therefore, making its flowers more appealing to the bees is beneficial for its probability of reproduction.
