Therefore a teenager should drink 1.0093 L per day.

    Explanation:

    Given that,

The recommended calcium intake for teenagers is 1,300 mg per day.

A glass of milk contains 305 mg Ca.

So, 305 mg Ca is contained by 1 glass of milk.

1 mg Ca is contained by 1/305 glass of milk.

1300 mg Ca is contained by 1300/305 glass of milk.

    =260/61 glass of milk.

    One glass milk contains a volume of eight fluid ounce = (8*29.6) mL = 236.8 mL.[∵1 fluid ounce = 29.6 m L]

    ∴260/61 glass of milk = (260/61) * 236.8 mL.

    ≈1009.3 mL

    = (1009.3:1000) L [∵ 1000 mL = 1L]

    =1.0093 L

Therefore a teenager should drink 1.0093 L per day.
