    612 g

    Explanation:

concentration or molarity is the number of moles of solute in 1 L of solution

the molarity of the solution is 12.5 M

therefore there are 12.5 mol in 1 L of solution

in 1 L of solution there are 12.5 mol

    therefore in 3.5 L there are - 12.5 mol/L x 3.5 L = 3.6 mol

molar mass of AgNO₃ is 170 g/mol

    mass of 3.6 mol of AgNO₃ is - 170 g/mol x 3.6 mol = 612 g

    612 g of AgNO₃ is needed to make a 12.5 M solution
