Solute : It is the substance added in small amount to a solvent to form solution.

NaCl is solute in salt water

Solvent: it the substance taken in large amount to dissolve solute and hence to form solution.

In Salt solution the water is solvent

Solution : it is the homogeneous mixture of solvent (taken in larger amount) and solute (taken in small amount). There is no distinct physical boundary between solvent and solute in a solution

Swimming pool is an example of solution as it contains solvent (water) and dissolve ions or chemicals (solute)

Reactant: it is the substance which reacts in a reaction

product: the reactants react in a reaction to produce another substance known as product.
