Explain why the total amount of energy does not decrease in an exergonic chemical reaction.

    An exorgonic reaction is a reaction where energy is being released. These type of reactions do not need input of energy to happen. Like any other processes, energy for this process is conserved which is not destroyed or created rather transformed to other type.
