    Sharing of Electrons to form a chemical bond between them is the main characteristic of covalent bond.

    mutual sharing of electrons between two atoms is called covalent bonding

    Answer is convalent. When electrons are shared, this is a convalent bond. Now if the electrons are transferred and not shared, this is an ionic bond. Ionic bonds are stronger than convalent bonds.
