Well, the electromagnetic spectrum is arranged or is represented based on the wavelengths and thus the energy content of the waves, whiz is obtained from the number of waves that occur within a given period of time, frequency. So waves containing the most energy, and high frequency are arranged from the left portion of the spectrum, like the ultraviolet waves for instance, and waves that are of less energy that can be transferred per period of time, or lower frequencies arranged more to the right of the spectrum, ending off with waves that have very low frequency and a larger distance in their wavelength than compared to the leftmost set of waves.
