What kind of energy does a bowling ball transfer to bowling pins?

    A bowling ball transfers kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is the energy that a body possesses by virtue of being in motion. So if the bowling ball is moving, and then the energy get transferred, then it's kinetic energy.
