    Sample Response: An apple is an opaque object because no light can pass through. The red apple reflects red light and absorbs all the other colors.

    It is opaque because you can't see anything on the other side of the apple.

    An apple is red because of the frequency of light shining on it makes it seem that it is red, as it is reflected. It seems it is red because it reflects infrared waves.
