All properties of matter are either extensive or intensive and either physical or chemical. Intensive properties, such as density and color, do not depend on the amount of matter. Ductility, or the ability of a substance to be drawn into thin wires, and Conductivity, or the ability of a substance to allow the flow of energy or electricity, are just few of the examples of intensive.
