The internet may, indeed, be affecting the kindness and social actions of people. Behind a screen, people may act "invincible", as if they don't need to be kind or that they can do or say whatever they want without consequences. This often results in this feeling of superiority that can carry over into real life, since online there's no face to face confrontation. It also may be isolating people more, socially. Yes, the internet is also a good tool for being social and meeting people and having social interactions, but it may cause people to stay inside online all the time, rather than having them go outside and see and talk to people face to face. The internet is a powerful and incredible tool, but if we don't use it right, it can become a bad thing for human kindness and interaction.
