President Ronald Reagan's "Address at Moscow State University" was a speech that he gave during the ending of his tenure as President of The United States of America. He had been invited by the then General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) Mikhail Gorbachev.

In his speech, he not only wished the students "good luck" for their exam but also began talking of the importance of personal friendships even in politics. Also, he used the figurative language of allusion to draw a parallel between the "age-old wisdom of our culture, [and] a wisdom contained in the book of Genesis in the Bible". This allusion to the Christian Bible gave an indirect reference to the Biblical significance and similarity, also at the same time giving him more authority in his speech over the listeners.
