    In an arugument the author is standing a stand for or against something and wants to convince their audience to feel the same way (example: if the author was against smoking, they would try to convince the reader it was bad for you and give reasons why)

    I 100% agree with the person above. When ur in an argument ofc ur gonna try to * convince * the person ur arguing with that what u think is the right thing. So its - A-
