I am thinking it is C. the Narrative Arc because that usually sets a stories pace and all of its components

    Explanation:

    usually plays are broken up into Acts with smaller sections in them called scenes and most of the time there 5 acts Act 1 being the exposition, act 2 the rising action, act 3 the climax, etc and the scenes within them are usually changes in setting and what not.
