    Answer with Explanation:

At the beginning of the story, Greg Ridley didn't care about his father's feelings and only thought about his own feelings. He didn't want to head home because of his father's lectures and he wasn't allowed to play ball with the Scorpions due to his failing grade in Mathematics. When he met Mr. Lemon Brown inside the graffiti-scarred building, he soon started to realize that his father acted that way because he loves him and he was his treasure. Greg changed his behavior because he found out what happened to Mr. Brown and his wife and son. This taught Greg that his real treasure was his father and that he was his father's treasure too. Thus, he changed his mind and went back home even though he knew the lecture he was going to get. It also taught him that he was lucky enough to have his dad around supporting him.
