Which group of words is NOT a clause?

    A clause has a subject and a verb, so

    1) "parade" "began"

    2) "she" "loves"

    3) "she" "went"

    4)

    5) "today" "rained"

    so by this logic 4 wouldn't be a clause because it has no identifiable subject or verb
