What is one strategy to use to determine if a source is credible? Ask a friend if he thinks the information is factual. Check to see if it provides references and statistics. Determine that other sources do not provide the same information. Make sure it allows readers to edit information.

    One strategy is to do research on the author of the website. Often, somewhere on a particular site with detailed information, there is the name of an author, researching the person to see if they are real and credible is one of the best ways to detect if the source is credible!
