Animal Farm:

At the end of Chapter 3, the narrator says that all is well, but then lists numerous ways that things were imperfect. What might these imperfections suggest and foreshadow?

    It might suggest that there are always ways to improve and that she/he is aware that they are not perfect. They might want to get there, but they are not. And they know that, and not being perfect is not the end of the world.
