On the "Island [A]" of Kauai, I highly recommend the charms of the small town of Hanalei. Although I'm not terribly fond of "Hawaiian cuisine, [B]" in particular poi, you can readily get excellent fruit and seafood. Natural attractions include beautiful secluded beaches, Mt. Waialeale (which annually receives up to 400 inches of rainfall, making it one of the wettest locations on "earth [C]"), and the Napali Coast [D].
