Euthanasia is legal only in three countries in the world, all of them EU Member States: the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg

Originally physician assisted suicide or euthanasia was only legal in Oregon. However this list has grown in recent years to include California, Washington, Colorado, and Vermont. Another piece of the US it is also legal in is Washington DC.
