    People like Thomas Payne and Benjamin Franklin implemented new ideas of common sense and freedom to the colonist while opening their eyes to how they were being treated and how it was unjust. The King was implementing crazy laws like taxes on tea, the stamp act, forcing them to house British soldiers in their homes. The Colonial leaders riled up the people and educated them on what was fair and just causing the Revolutionary War.
