    The Guano island act allows the United States to do is that this act has allowed the United States in which their citizens to take possession of an island that is unclaimed in which is contained or possessed the guano deposits. This allows citizens to partake of taking islands as long as it is unclaimed and contains guano deposits.

    Gauno island act allowed the the United state to claim the island in the pacific. The American were allowed to claim the Guono island by the Gauno island Act which was a an act to claim the territory. Example of the island that were claimed by us were baker island, howland island Johnston Atoll among others
