Schneck--During the World War I draft he was charged with obstructing the draft and violating the Espionage Act.

Schneck passed out pamphlets to draftees stating the government could not require men to kill other men. After he was charged with espionage, Schneck took the case to the Supreme Court stating his First Amendment right of free speech had been violated. The Supreme Court decided in favor of the US and stated Americans don't have free speech if the speech harms others or interferes with war action.
